Gala Dinner and Auction

The Vacaville Museum, dedicated in 1984, turns 35 this year.  In celebration of that
milestone, the Museum Guild, in concert with the Board of Trustees, is planning a gala.  On
September 6th in the Buck Mansion gardens, Lindsey (Gilpin) Chelini, owner of the Backdoor
Bistro, will serve a catered dinner to 120 guests in her own inimitable style, using the freshest
and most local

ingredients available.  We urge you to be one of those guests.  
Reservations are now being taken.  The cost to attend is $150 per person and includes a
before-dinner glass to sip along with appetizers; a four-course, sit-down dinner with wine; and
chances to win a pyramid of wine, purchase historical Museum memorabilia and bid on some
one-of-a-kind auction items.

If you would like to enjoy elevated status, you may choose to sponsor a table.  For $1,750 you
will host a table of eight diners, have preferential seating, receive additional wine at table, be
publicly acknowledged and graciously thanked, and receive special commemorative gifts for
yourself and your guests.  For $3,500 you will receive twice that and will be honored as an
emerald sponsor on this emerald anniversary.  

We encourage those that would like to attend to get their reservations in early, as there is limited
seating and four of the fifteen tables are already sold.  You may make your reservation by phone,
mail or in person.  Payment will be accepted in cash, by check or at the Museum by credit card.
